Like many alpaca
owners, we were introduced to this gentle, amazing animal through
friends who were already successfully growing a beautiful and
profitable herd. Eager to learn more, we discovered an incredible
community of alpaca owners and breeders who were only too pleased
to welcome us into their ranks and support us through our novice
stage. |

We quickly discovered
that alpaca farming truly represents the best of what people envision
as the country lifestyle - acres of easy-care, earth-friendly and
guilt-free livestock gently grazing, producing a luxurious and naturally
organic fiber,
and all the while humming softly. Impressed also with the income
potential and tax advantages, we were satisfied that alpacas were
the livestock for us. |

We chose the Ocala,
Florida, area for our farm, where winters are mild and the spreading
oaks offer a shady respite in the summer. Starting with a herd of
five, we now number over 30 suris, many past and present champions
among them. Our commitment to good breeding practices and premium
care has rewarded us with consistent ribbon winners and a reputation
for excellence. |
